Inthis listing we have a super charming little doll dress. Based oneverything that came with this dress I believe this doll dress isfrom the 1950s, but it could be older. The fabric pattern looks likeit could be older. It is made from a super cute orange cloth with awhite and green floral print, and has some green rick rack trim onthe bodice. It is a jumper style and has a circle skirt, with asimilar circle design for the bodice. It’s about 6.25 inches fromthe neckline to the bottom of the skirt and the skirt is around 6.5inches from side to side when stretched flat. If there’s any othermeasurements you’d like for it, please feel free to ask. This dressis open in the back and has no closures and no evidence closuresexisted. My pictures came out a little saturated, the colors for thedress are a little more muted in person. Thisdress is in okay shape. It does have some age issues, but it also hassome quality issues. I think the person who made the dress was achild who was learning to sew, but it does have a rustic charm. Thedress is slightly dingy. I didn’t wash it, so it could use a bit ofcleaning. It doesn’t look bad, just could use a cleaning. It alsocould use a pressing, it is a little wrinkled. The sewing on thedress isn’t perfect. The bottom hem of the skirt has some areaswhere it looks like the stitching got away from them, there’s somesewn down folds, and in the front there’s an excess thread and someadditional sewing. Where the bodice meets the skirt on the front andback, there’s a lot of sewing. It looks like it gave them sometrouble. On the front there’s some gaps where the bodice wasn’tfully sewn to the skirt. There’s similar issues in the back too, especially the excess sewing. Also in the back there is some frayingto the fabric and the trim. Along the neckline the trim wasn’t sewndown evenly. There’s some fraying to the trim in several spots. There’s fraying to the fabric itself on the right shoulder at theneckline. On the left side in the back it looks like they ran out oftrim and put two pieces side by side, but the edges are visible. There’s lots of sewing issues at the neckline too. Some sewn downtucks, some missed edges, some minor sewing issues. This dress doeshave it’s fair share of issues, but I think it’s really charming.Could also be used for fabric. Please examine all pictures to see theexact condition of the dress and please keep in mind some issues aremore visible in person compared to pictures.
