Item: Original owner of
this 1960's Blonde Bubble Cut Barbie doll collection . The doll is still in very good condition. I’ve owned the doll since the 1960's when my parents bought it for me. There were so many items in my group that there weren't enough photos available to show the good condition of my items. So, if you are interested in purchasing the collection shown but, would like more detailed photos, please let me know and I will attach more photos to my reply message to you. The metal rivets and case clasp are slightly dull with a little rust specks on them from age. As you can see, along with the case and doll are several actual Barbie outfits, such as the basic Barbie Fashion Model swimsuit, the Nighty Negligee, Sweet Dream baby doll nightie, the original Red Flare outfit, Barbie's Friday Nite Date outfit complete with the tray and 2 drinks (one of the straw's is missing, I looked for it, but Ken must have taken it when he left Barbie's place), the Floral Petticoat is there with the hand mirror and brush, the Silken Flame dress with gold purse and belt and black shoes, and there are items from Barbie's "Mix'N Match Fashion Paks" as well. These are all items in Barbie and Ken catalogs that I've also included in the set and shown in the last photo. There also other trinkets like the bowl of yarn, needles and scissors from one of her sets, and the stuffed dog that was with her Nighty Negligee. I have also included the Barbie ring I received as a child. The bottom portion of the band is broken off but still in the box. The top half of the ring with the Barbie profile surrounded by crystals is still intact in the box as well. There is also included a bridal bouquet, a worn bridal gown with veil (gown is slightly coming apart at shoulder seam) and 2 bridesmaid dresses (one with a veil), the white dress shown on the doll and a black lace coat with black and white beads that my mother made for Barbie. The outfits and accessories have been sitting in the case and because of that they look wrinkled. Also in this group is a rare copy of the 1964 first issue of "The World Of Barbie" (The Barbie Magazine Annual). It is an 80 page magazine with stories, poems, recipes, and fashion portraits. The magazine is in mint condition. I am also selling my Barbie vanity, armoir with hope chest all made by Suzy Goose. And, I no longer have the Suzy Goose canopy bed for Barbie, but, I still have the mattress and pillow (that was handmade by my mom), the canopy cover and dust ruffle with pillow sham that came with the canopy bed. They are in very good condition. And, they are shown in the photo with the vanity. The vanity chair has one of the handles missing but is otherwise in very good condition.
