It Will Not Be Left Unattended **. Offering Today ~~ This is a 1959/1960, First Issue Mattel Chatty Cathy Doll. This is a Nice Chatty Cathy in Original Condition. She Comes Wearing Some of her Original Clothing Items and Brand New Accessories. A Pretty Doll, She is in Very Good, Vintage Condition, But She Does Not Talk. She is in Clean and Display Ready, With Nice Original Features and a Bright Fleshy Skintone. She is approximately 20" tall and as the First #1 Issue, She has No Manufacturer's Markings. Chatty Has Been Freshly Cleaned and Cosmetically Restored. She Offers No Vintage Dirt, No Vintage Grime and No Odors. This Doll is the Correct Head and Correct Limbs on the Correct Body. No Body Parts Have Been Changed Out. She has a Soft Vinyl Head with Lovely and Full Strawberry-Blonde Hair. It Has Been Washed, Conditioned and Gently Curled. She has No Haircuts. If you want it Longer, just brush out the Curls. She Now Has a Clean Scalp Too. Her Bangs are Full and are the Correct Length. Her Light Blue Decal Sleep Eyes are Bright, Clean and Clear. They both Open and Close as Intended. She has All of her Black Eyelashes. Most of her Facial Paint and her White Teeth Are Original. Her Freckles and Eyebrows are More Visible in Person. She has Taupe/Gray Freckles, Taupe/Gray Eyebrows, Coral Pink Lip Color and Light Pink Cheek Color. Her Cheek Blush is Light so I added just a Hint More Blush. She has the #1 Body with the Cloth Covered Speaker. She has her Original Pink Magic Pull Ring and her Original String, However She **NO LONGER TALKS**. Her Talkbox is Still Inside her Tummy and She has Never Been Opened Up for Repair. **Chatty is Being Sold as a Non-Talking and Non-Working Doll**. She has a Hard Plastic Body. Her Seams are Neat, Tightly Sealed and Original. She has No Cracks and No Fixes. Her Hard Vinyl Limbs All Match in a Fleshy Tan Skintone Color. Her Limbs are Securely in their Sockets and she Poses Nicely. She has All Fingers and Toes With No Nibbles and No Bubbles. Her Head Turns Freely From Side-to-Side. The Original Mattel 1959/1960 Clothing Pieces Included: Her Two-Toned Blue Debut Party Dress. This Dress is in Good Vintage Condition. It has the Original Working Donut Snap in the Back and the Sash Ties are Full Length. It Shows Some Age Fading and it is has Two Neatly Done, Seam Mends. The White Eyelet Bolero is the Rarer Edition with No Eyelet Trim. The Collar and the Sleeves are Plain, White Cotton Material. It is Clean and in Very Good Condition. I have added a New Snap to the Back and I have Sewn New Elastic Thread to the Sleeves. Brand New, Out-of-Package Accessories Include her Cream Colored Nylon Underpants with Elastic Waist and Legs, With Lace Trim. Her White Nylon Socks with Lace Trim. Her Shiny Baby Blue Patent Leather Mary Jane Style Shows. The Shoes have Gold Buckles to the Side and Heart Cutouts on the Top. They have a Solid Bottom Sole. I Made Her This Baby Blue Grosgrain Hair Ribbon Bow. This is Brand New. It has Two Rosettes, One Mauve and One Yellow as Decoration and I have a Bobbie Pin to Attach it to her Hair. Her White Poly-Cotton Half Slip Goes Well With this Dress Set. It is Bright and Clean With an Elastic Waist and White Lace Trim. This Looks to be a Nicely Made, Seamstress Made Piece. The Age is Unknown. Vintage Imperfections/Flaws ~ She has a Few Tiny Dots on her Face that Did not Wash Off. One on her Nose and a Couple on her Forehead. AND - Please Expect Some Signs of Age and Usage to Include Some Minor Scratches or Scuffs, a Dot here or a Speck there on her Vinyl.
