Horsman Marked Ventriloquist Pal Man Doll Willie Talks 23 inches Tall.
A Horsman man doll Ventriloquist for the creative child or adult who wants to learn how to talk with your mouth shut and have a dummy say it instead. His name is Willie Talks and he has a mark on his neck Horsman Dolls Inc., he has a tag attached. He is 23 inches tall with a hard plastic head and rubber hands with foam stuffed muslin soft body including his feet. He has his original clothes, the dark blue pants and red plaid jacket. He has blue eyes and the paint on his face and mouth are in really good shape, not faded or scratched at all. His hard hair is a little scuffed in the back from use. He hardly has any scratches or scuffs. He has all his fingers and his hands are in good condition. He measures approx 23" across his back from hand to hand...17" around his chest under his arms and weighs 1# 2oz.
A great way to fly with your imagination and learn a new skill or just a great addition to your doll collection!
In good vintage pre-owned condition!! He has a small hole in one of his black cloth shoes or socks. I think he may have had hard shoes at one time. He is missing a button on his jacket. The elastic in his pants has worn out and have safety pins to hold them up. His muslin cloth body is in bad shape with tears in many places and stuffing will fall out if you take off his jacket. He has been patched up with pink fabric under and across one shoulder and arm. He has names written in pen on his back and one inked name on one leg, put there by my brother...it was his doll when he was little. Willie's mouth is operated by a string in the back of his neck which needs adjusted in order for the mouth to move correctly. From a Smoke Free Pet Free home and Climate Controlled Storage.
Please Note: All of the dolls were stored in a huge trunk and closed up for years. When we got them out we noticed just a hint of a musty odor to them. Since then we have moved them all out to air and because it was not a heavy odor they seem ok now. So we hope that helped and just so you know ahead of time.
In order to preserve the original vintage integrity of our items, we do not clean or repair them. We sell them "as-is". Most of our items can be cleaned, polished, repaired and conditioned in order to achieve a better look, but many customers prefer to purchase an original piece and then work on them later if needed.
