DESCRIPTION: For your consideration, this listing is for the shown GENE doll (16 inches) designed by Mel Odom for Ashton Drake from 1999-2000. Her MPN # is 93526. She is fully marked on her back w/ the Ashton Drake issue # 9220. . She has RED HAIR: A highly desirable hair color and a bit harder-to-find than the other hair colors. Her hair is very full and wavy and curly. Super thick. Smells really good too! I had to replace her original broken rubber hair-band with a satin ribbon. . Her body and head are EVENLY COLORED ---a pretty ivory skin tone. No yellowing to her vinyl. . Her face is HIGH COLOR! As can be seen in the photos, her face has very vivid facial coloring. Her lashes are long and intact. Her cheeks have lovely coloring. Her Burgundy-Red hair color really sets off her vivid facial coloring. . She has been stored properly. No weird odors on this doll. She smells real nice actually. Also she comes from a non-smoking home. . Read... WORTH MENTIONING: Small issue but has to be mentioned: See the close-up photos of the top of her shoulder, since she has two tiny marks where her bathing suit's straps once were and there is a very slight "dent" (once again) where that bathing suit strap once was. It's always been there and is some Factory FLAW from the doll's original production.I would have missed the "dent" myself, had I not looked at Gene's shoulders w/ a magnifying glass. You have to look real close to see. (SEE photos # 12-A and # 12-B). . ALSO INCLUDED: { see last photos} ...
