Joann McCracken signed 1982 dressed victorian female doll with doll stand, please see all photos for best description. She has never been displayed and has been in safe storage for over 40 years. She is wearing a long, ivory lace cotton gown with cotton lace slip and pantaloons. She has chestnut hair made of mohair. Her face is hand painted with green eyes. The d oll is posable with wire wrapped legs and arms. The head, hands and feet are sculpted in clay. The bottom of her left foot is signed and dated with Joann's maker's mark "JMc" and "82". She is 5.75" tall. Joann McCracken (author of "Dollhouse Dolls", 1980) made dolls similar in style to this lady in the 1970-1980s. Please see my other listings for more artisan dollhouse miniatures.
