Up for Auction is this Antique Rare Margit Szerelemhegyi Marga Studio Lenci Type Felt Doll 11" Hungary This little rare pre-owned doll is in nice condition to be almost 100 years old. She is 11 inches tall (28 cm) She was made in the studio of Margit Szerelemhegyi of Budabest in the 1930's Margit Szerelemhegyi presented her dolls at the 1939 New York World's Fair This doll is made of felt and she is made very much like Lenci dolls She has the Zigzag stitching on the back of her neck She has separated fingers She has side glancing flirty eyes She has a seam going up the back and front of her legs She has double fabric for her ears. She is so similar to a Lenci Doll that I would have sworn she was a Lenci. I would love to hear from you doll collectors on what you think. She has a small rub on the tip of her nose. She has some moth bites on her left arm. She has a small burn on the back of her white dress (see photos) She has the most intricate hand knit and beaded headdress or Bonnet She skirt is brightly colored with a green velvet sash, she wears black leather shoes accented with white trim and red ties She is a lovely little rare doll that is hardly seen.
