A wonderful antique fashion doll with either a composite or papier mache head, and peg arms and legs. I am not a doll expert, but, whatever her head is made of, she is just lovely. She is 12" high, and she wears a red dress with black trim. She also has 3 attached petticoats (one short) and a pair of pantaloons, all with various trims. The dress is sewn on her, as there are no snaps or buttons, and there is a disintegrating black lace shawl which is pinned to one side (I left the pin there). Her bonnet is truly amazing. It is faded blue velvet with tiny piping trim on the edges of the velvet. It is lined with burgundy velvet, and there is beautiful free form lace on the underside outer edge. The bonnet is topped off with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers which includes a pink rose. You'll want to keep her forever...she is that special. Condition: she has paint loss on her black hair, her black lace shawl is disintegrating, and there is some light crazing on her head. She is in otherwise good antique condition. Quite a remarkable antique doll. Thanks for looking!
