American Character Sweet Sue Doll in feathers, gown Exceptional

American Character Sweet Sue Glamour Doll 1950s in feathers & sophisticated pink gown In outstanding vintage condition 18” American Character’s Sweet Sue Doll is dressed in her best night-on-the-town pink satin gown with white feather sleeve accents.  She is believed to be dressed in her original clothes. The gown is so tight that our Sue can’t sit down. The gown’s crystal pleats start at the knees. The neckline is bejeweled, and the sleeves are leg ‘o’ mutton under all those feathers. She has no underwear or markings. She comes with her own stand. Sweet Sue’s twinkly blue eyes are heavily lashed, but they don’t close. She could stand to visit the hair stylist. She is barefoot, and her knees are touched with dark pink, in the way of ‘20s flappers who rouged their knees (see last photo). Measures approximately 18". She shows very little, if any, wear.
