7 DOLL Vintage BARBIE CLONE LOT Uneeda Dollikin Mitzi Tressy Dressed

Here's a fun lot of 7 vintage dressed Barbie Clone dolls!   These dolls will give your vintage doll display lots of variety, and show some of the popular and more obscure Barbie clones that were available during the 1960's.  These dolls have all been played with, but most of the dolls are in good shape and will display well. All of the dolls will need some cleaning or hair styling, so this lot is definitely not for "Mint" collectors.  But if you don't mind a little cleaning and styling, this lot will be worth the effort. They all come dressed as shown, and everyone has shoes on except Penny Brite. Some of the clothing might need minor repair or cleaning.  This group of dolls will look great displaying your favorite vintage fashions.   This lot includes a Uneeda Dollikin, a Uneeda Wendy, Ideal Mitzi, a Davtex ponytail, an American Character bendleg Tressy doll with a wig, a Deluxe Reading Penney Brite, and a newer China clone. I will go through and mention any flaws they might have.  I've collected vintage Barbie for 30+ years, and I scrutinize items I sell on eBay.  I don't grade anything as "Mint" unless I've just taken it out of its original packaging.  If you have a question that my description hasn't answered, please ask me:) Please note that I accept returns only if the item is returned in the original, unaltered condition. Starting on the left: Redhead Dollikin:  This doll seems like she wasn't played with much at all; her hair still has her original ribbon in. Her hair is done up like the 1967 TNT Barbie doll. She also has her original jumpsuit and scarf, which look clean and nice see pics #13 & #14. She is wearing a clone plaid dress and vest that's in great shape.  She looks like she's an Irish step dancer:) She poses like an artist's model and her joints all work as they should.  I don't see any cracks in her body.  She wears orange boots. Uneeda Wendy: She is marked U on the back of her head.  Her hair is a bit dry, like most Uneeda dolls hair, but she has a lot of hair with some curl left in her ponytail.  She has nice make-up with blush.  She has earring posts in, but no green staining.  Her body only has posable arms, she is not jointed at the hips.  She wears a clone slightly stretched striped swimsuit that has several places along the front seam to restitch, see pic #5.  She has a homemade corduroy coat and her original heels.  Her feet have a "hump" on top of them that the shoe strap fits into.  One heel has a broken strap. Ideal Mitzi:  Has cute, high color make-up and dark shiny hair.  Her shiny brunette ponytail has some curl at the bottom; I'm not sure if it's original length or if it's been cut.  She has some dust/lint in her bangs that needs to be combed out.  She's marked Ideal on her back, and her body looks good with no dents or scratches.  Her legs pose fine; her arms were swingy and I added clear rubberbands around the inside armhole to act as a "washer" for the joint.  Now the arms hold most poses, they might be a little slippage, but they're much better now.  If the rubber bands break or work themselves out, you can replace them with clear small drugstore polybands.  She wears a clone blouse and a knit skirt that needs to be rehemmed. Davtex Hong Kong Ponytail: This brunette ponytail clone has nice features and lots of dry, messy brunette hair.  Her head is a softer vinyl than most clones.  She is marked on her back "Davtex Hong Kong".  Her arms and legs pose fine, and her legs are bendable with wire inside them.   Her dress is clean and nicely made; I'm not sure if it's clone or homemade. American Character Tressy:  She is unmarked though I'm sure this is a bendleg Tressy doll, as she has the grow hair button on her stomach, and a place for a key on the back.  The slot for the key on her back is missing the plastic ring that goes around it.  This girl does not have a grow hair strand anymore.  She has had a haircut and she comes with a blonde bubblecut clone wig.  The wig would fit better if you trim a little more of the doll's hair off.  The wig has a green bow tied in it.  Tressy has the Mary Make-up Face that always had minimal make-up, so you could add "cosmetics"!  These dolls look quite cute with added eyeliner and brows, done in artist's acrylic paint.  Her legs still bend nicely.  She needs the top of her arms cleaned especially, as they look darkened.  Her homemade dress is in nice shape. Deluxe Reading Penney Brite:   Penney Brite is in good shape with all her face paint and nice condition hair.  She is marked on her back Deluxe Reading.  She's pretty clean.  Her right arm is a bit loose, but her other arm and legs hold all poses.  One leg seems bent longer than the other, probably from how she was stored.  She wears a homemade dress that needs snaps added at the back.  It has a small spot on the back shoulder and smells a little musty. Newer China Barbie clone:  She's marked Made in China on her back.  This is a blown plastic doll that is made of very light plastic.  I don't think she's been played with.  Hair and face paint look good.  Her joints all work, but her left arm is loose in the socket.  It will hold poses, but feels loose.  The dress is nicely homemade. Last shoe pic:  There are 6 pairs of shoes included in this lot, only Penney Brite doesn't have shoes.  The Wendy ponytail has a split shoe, and one other white shoe is split.  The blue shoes both have splits.
