We buy very large lots of vintage and antique doll clothing to bring our customers all the lovelies that we sell at Farmhouse Favorites. Occasionally in these lots we come across items that just won't sell well by themselves, need repairs or have stains that we don't have time to sew/soak/treat. Sometimes sellers pad the lots we buy with human baby clothes or modern doll clothes and even reproduction clothing sold to us as vintage. Sometimes items just don't sell in our store and cycle back around for a very long time until we finally pull them out of the sell line-up and put them in a Bulk Trunk Lot. We get a LOT of trunks in these big lots we buy, and most of the time they are in "Project" condition, meaning they are relatively sturdy but need some loving refurbishing.
We will NOT sell this lot without the trunk, because part of the reason we offer these Bulk Trunk Lots is to get rid of all the trunks in our pile!
We save up these bits and pieces until we feel like we have a fun and varied bulk lot, we pick a trunk from our pile and make a BULK LOT!
This is one of of our fabulous Bulk Lots, sold AS IS. Things may have issues or they may be fine. We try to take a lot of pics so you have a good idea of what you're getting. Because of the as is, bulk lot - incredibly low price nature of this lot, we DO NOT provide measurements for these pieces.
There are a few human baby items. On a couple we couldn't decide hence the reason they are in this lot. They are all counted in the clothing counts below.
Also included in this lot are:
1 antique/vintage doll wig, removed from doll
4 random composition/wood small doll parts
13 pants/overalls/rompers/bloomers/shorts
14 dresses
3 skirts
2 piece pajamas
12 shirts/sweaters/tops
1 swimsuit
1 baby receiving blanket
4 hats/bonnets
2 vinyl child-sized aprons
2 (1 pair) leather antique mary jane style human baby shoes, very worn
1 single high top black antique baby boy shoe
1 metal miniature bucket
A baggy of random ribbons and bits that I didn't count as "anything" (single socks, etc)
The 1930s-1940s era Trunk measures 18 inches long x 10 1/2 inches wide x 9 1/4 inches deep. The plastic handle, metal hinges, and latch are all good. Lock does not work/or have key. Wood trunk with paper covered inside, that is peeling, damaged, etc. Cardboard drawer pieces are there but need repaired. 2 ribbons for holding clothes/doll are still present. Outside is simulated Alligator? skin. 1 panel needs more repair than the rest, see pics. The stickers on the outside are cool travel oriented, and the outside does show significant storage and play wear, see pics. There are 2 TWA airplane stickers that are very cool.
This is a big box. The box measures 23x12x12 and weighs 9 lbs 4 oz. There IS room to combine ship with other clothing if desired. I wouldn't add anything breakable or substantial that will increase the weight much. This is starting at 99 cents as it is a grab bag and we will let you decide what you want to pay (shipping is the real cost).

What does FLAT MEASURED mean? We measure the garment laying flat so we are only measuring the front width. For the entire measurement of the garment around the waist, around the bodice, etc, double the measurement listed. Measure around your doll with a flexible tape measure for the best results. For example, a 4 inch flat measured waist is approximately 8 inches around the entire garment, so a doll of no bigger than an 8 inch waist could wear that item.
Please refer to my measurements in the AUCTION DESCRIPTION as the Ebay BOT is filling in random measurements in the item detail section, especially in the width slot for some reason. Literally, it's pulling random numbers from my descriptions and sticking them wherever it feels they should be. So odd! lol.
All props, furniture, backgrounds, doll modeling item for auction unless specified as part of the auction/or the auction item, mannequins, doll stands, etc are NOT for sale. SHIPPING Q & A
We ship calculated USPS shipping. USPS rules state that if the mailer is over 1/4 of an inch thick it is considered a package. Package dimensions, package weight, and the zone of the shipping destination are all figured into the postage pricing system. The USPS base package price starts at $5.00 (1-4 oz). We have a $2 handling fee per auction lot.
We pull items from inventory, pack, and ship VERY quickly, so chances are if you purchase something one day, it will be mailed the next (with Sunday as an obvious exception).
We combine shipping on orders.
Combined shipping involves us repacking your items into a single mailer, weighing and measuring it, entering the shipping info into the Ebay calculated shipping system, and then adding our $2 handling fee per lot onto the shipping total. Your savings comes from the reduction in weight of the package due to shipping 1 mailer opposed to X mailers.
You can go to the USPS calculator online, and take our zip code from the info in the shipping tab, your zip code, select package (by dimension and weight), put in the weight of the package provided below, then site will take you to a new screen, and then scroll down to USPS Ground Advantage and the shipping price posted there will equal the price posted in this Ebay auction less our $2 handling fee. The Ebay calculated shipping system is integrated with the USPS and the prices are the USPS prices. I do not control the USPS prices and the USPS does not take into consideration if the item is less, equal, or more than the shipping price. The purchase price has nothing to do with the price of the USPS shipping.
We include a seasonally-based bonus gift
with every purchase to bring a smile to your face! You can find out more about bonus gifts on our Facebook page.
