~  Silk Heirloom Dress ~ This auction is for a beautiful 2-piece turquoise silk smocked and embroidered ensemble by Robin Barrows of Pretty Things, made especially for the 13" Effner Little Darling dolls.  The set includes the following: Dress: Created from silk fabric in turquoise.  The bodice is lined in off-white batiste.  The collar, sleeves and hem are adorned with off-white French lace.  The embroidery is done in fine embroidery thread, with 3 bullion roses across the bodice.  The sleeves are smocked and embroidered as well.  There are 2 pink silk ribbon bows at the neckline.  The dress has off-white double-sided satin ribbon ties and closes in the back with 2 little white buttons and loops. Half Slip: I've included an off-white half slip that I made.  It has a skirt tuck and off-white lace on the waistband and hem.  It closes in the back with a snap and off-white button. This is a high-quality ensemble.  It is gently used and in like-new condition.  It comes from a smoke-free home, and is intended for adult collectors.
