This is an Ideal Toy Corp. Tiny Thumbelina from the early 1960s. When you twist the knob on her back, her head moves in a kind of rolling movement. This has been tested and is working. Includes the following: Thumbelina baby doll. Pink overalls with apples or cherries on the knees (the outfit she is wearing). A white shirt to wear under the overalls (part of the outfit she is wearing). A blue 2-compartment carrying case which measures approx 15"H x 15"W at the bottom x 4"D. Has a handle at the top. Each side has a twist closure. A "closet" on one side of the case which has 2 "accessories" drawers and a bar for hangers. Six hangers. A white (christening?) dress (torn as shown in the photos). A white baby shirt. A washcloth. Unsure if she has underclothes as I did not remove her outfit. I don't know which of the clothes and accessories are original equipment. Doll measures about 12"-14" tall. Weight of everything is 4+ lb. Notes on condition: All items have expected signs of age. Doll has blemishes. Hair is unbrushed and out of place. Clothes have some damage. Carrying case window has yellowed. Cardboard of case is bent and as a result one side does not lay flat. Please examine the photographs carefully and consider them to be a part of the description. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
