This is a copy of the original pattern Charming cloth doll and clothes pattern from 1934 to make this cute doll created by Edith Flack Ackley. The pattern was a mail order pattern that could be purchased through Woman's Home Companion magazine. Lovely facial features to be embroidered or painted. Edith Flack Ackley named the doll "For A Little Girl's Christmas". The pattern calls for the hair to be made of yarn. When finished she is approximately 16 inches tall. There are excellent instructions and diagrams as with all Edith Flack Ackley's patterns. Pattern for: doll which is approximately 16" tall when finished, calico dress, apron, shoes, hair and embroidered facial features. Directions on how to make old fashion braided hair, lace underpants, puffed sleeves, calico dress, apron and the shoes that can be maid of felt, leather or oil cloth.
